CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF BRITISH MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE

2016 is a momentous year for Crown Imperial, marking a remarkable milestone with the celebration of its 70th anniversary as a leading British furniture manufacturer. A third generation family run business, the Crown Imperial story began when Len Head started to craft children’s toys and nursery furniture in Fulham, London on the 1st April 1946.

Successfully spanning across the next seven decades, the company continued to evolve its furniture offering and in 1987 saw another key landmark and laid the foundations for the future with the opening of our new state of the art 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Kent. The millennium marked a similar notable achievement in Crown’s history, with the opening of our impressive 15,000 sq. ft. Daventry showroom, providing a valuable showcase to highlight the quality, versatility and endless furniture choices for customers.

Renowned for cutting edge manufacturing technology, Crown Imperial still continues today to demonstrate its true dedication to innovation and design, offering a comprehensive palette of high quality fitted home furniture solutions distributed by its nationwide independent retailer network.
